THREE North-East teenagers will go wheel-to-wheel with the country’s best kart racers next month (Sunday, June 16).
Kieran Smith, 15, Connor Toghill, 14, and Luke O’Rourke, 13, have qualified for the national final of the British Schools Karting Championship (BSKC), to be held at Whilton Mill, Northamptonshire, on Sunday, June 16.
This follows the Durham Johnston School trio’s success in the North-East heats last month.
The national winners will get a VIP tour of the McLaren Technology Centre, where Formula 1 racing cars are tested.
