Mark Knopfler on stage last night
ROCK guitar legend Mark Knopfler returned to the North-East city where he grew up to play songs from his latest album.
Knopfler and his band performed at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle on Saturday night in support of his new CD, Privateering.
The Dire Straits founder will be on the road in Britain and Europe until July and will perform six dates at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
