AN agricultural company is holding an open day later this month to raise funds for a national farming charity.
J.H. Agri is staging the event, at Wycliffe, near Barnard Castle, County Durham, to showcase the latest farming tools and machinery.
Many leading manufacturers give live demonstrations and there will be special offers on work clothing and much more.
However, it will also be an opportunity to raise funds for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) – a charity that supports farming families.
At the event, on Friday, May 31, the organisers will launch a prize draw, which will be drawn at the RABI stand at the Great Yorkshire Show in July.
The open day takes place in the field near St Mary’s Presbytery Church from noon to 8pm.
Admission is free.
