A FACTORY is to host a day of extreme car stunts and drift racing.
The Nissan plant at Sunderland is to host the show on Sunday, June 16, which coincides with Fathers’ Day, organised by Extreme Events Europe.
Around 30 of Europe’s most impressive drift cars will battle it out to be crowned Extreme Torque Champion 2013.
The day will also feature a Freestyle motocross team, a Guinness World Record holding monster truck and the BMX Extreme Team who will be performing a variety of stunts.
A highlight of the show is Two Brothers Racing, a freestyle team riding two-wheeled 1200cc machines, who recently appeared in a Kylie Minogue video.
The day will include free children’s workshops from the bike team, a fairground, drinks and food stands along with a number of trade stands.
Tickets cost £14 for adults and £6 for children, available on 08444 771000.
