THIEVES took a Land Rover after breaking into a house and stealing the keys in what police are calling a two-in-one burglary.
The thieves broke into a house on Phoenix Row in Witton Park on Thursday, May 9.
The intruders made off with several items of jewellery including four gold rings, a gold belcher chain and gold earrings, as well as a four-figure sum of cash. They also stole the keys to the K-registered Land Rover.
The vehicle was found the following day parked securely in West Garth Gate car park in Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria.
