A HERITAGE railway is about to swap tickets for cuddly toys.
The North York Moors Railway is holding its own week-long version of a teddy bears' picnic to coincide with the half term holiday.
From May 25 to June 2 children taking their teddy bear along for a trip will not have to buy a ticket, as they will travel free with a fare-paying adult as part of the railway’s 40th birthday celebrations.
The teddy bear theme continues at each station along the railway, with visitors challenged to find teddy bear pictures at Pickering, Levisham, Goathland and Grosmont stations.
