A WICKET keeper is in safe hands with his new sponsor.
Michael Richardson, a wicket keeper and batsman with Durham County Cricket Club (DCCC), has attracted sponsorship from law firm Sintons.
The Newcastle-based company will sponsor the South African’s bat.
The 26-year-old has a strong sporting heritage. His father, David, is a former South African Test cricketer and current chief executive of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
He made his Durham debut in 2010, was last year’s second team player of the season and said he was delighted to receive Sintons’ support.
Iona Sims, from the firm, said it was very pleased to lend its support.
