TOMORROW (Saturday) will mark the second anniversary since a Hartlepool man was last seen.
Scott Fletcher was 27 when he was last seen on May 11, 2011 at around 8.20pm in the lay-by opposite the Jet garage on the A181 at Wheatley Hill in Durham.
The search for Mr Fletcher has extended to the Durham, Cumbria and Liverpool areas, as it is believed he has connections there.
His mother, Julie Fletcher, has made several appeals for information on his whereabouts over the last two years.
She said: “It has been a very long two years and Scott’s disappearance has left a big hole in the family. His children miss him terribly and it’s very difficult to cope with not knowing where he is or what has happened to him.”
Detective Superintendent Jon Green said: “We are now approaching the second anniversary of Scott’s disappearance. His family are desperate for information and just want him home. We are still very concerned about his whereabouts and would again appeal for anyone with any information at all to come forward and speak to us.”
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Det Supt Green of Hartlepool Police on the non-emergency 101 number or Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.
