RADIO MINE: The Bishop Auckland Radio Amateurs Club will set up a temporary radio station at Killhope: the North of England Lead Mining Museum in Weardale, County Durham, on Sunday, May 12, and will also share their knowledge of ham radio with visitors. The event is part of National Mills Weekend 2013, an annual celebration of the country’s milling heritage. The museum is open daily from 10.30am to 5pm.
