ARTISTS are being asked to take part in an annual art exhibition in a Weardale town.
The 13th Wolsingham Art Exhibition will be held over the August Bank Holiday weekend at the Church Hall on Rectory Lane.
Co-organiser Sue Weston said artists can now apply to display and sell their work at the popular exhibition.
She said: “The exhibition is open to all artists, from new and young ones to seasoned exhibitors and even the 'not-very-sure-and-really-very-shy' artist.
“The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and friendly - and Weardale is worth a visit at any time - so come and join us."
Exhibiting costs £10 per exhibitor and the deadline for entering is Thursday, August 8.
For more information on the exhibition or to download an entry form visit wolsinghamartexhibition.weebly.com.
The exhibition will be open from 11am to 5pm from Saturday, August 24, to Monday, August 26, with an invite-only preview evening at 7pm on Friday, August 23.
