A WOMAN has been charged with engaging in sexual activity with a 14-year-old boy.
Natalie Williams, of Close Street, Darlington, faces five charges of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a child between September 26 and 29 last year.
During that time, the 22-year-old is alleged to have detained a child without lawful authority – an offence that falls under the Child Abduction Act 1984.
She is also charged with possessing the class B drug cannabis on September 29 and receiving a stolen credit card and using it to commit fraud by obtaining cash and property on September 26.
Miss Williams did not enter a plea when she appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates Court in County Durham today (Wednesday, May 8).
The case was committed to Teesside Crown Court on Wednesday, May 15.
Miss Williams received conditional bail.
