FIRE crews rescued a puppy from the kitchen of a house in Marske, East Cleveland.
The call was received around 8.45pm last night (Tuesday, March 7) after the family of four, from Loraine Close, were alerted by their smoke alarm. The occupants manage to rescue two dogs, but the crews were required to fetch the younger animal.
Firefighters from Saltburn and Redcar attended the incident. The kitchen was severely damaged by fire, while the rest of the house suffered smoke damage.
