CHARITY NIGHT: A charity event to raise funds for North East Children’s Cancer Research will take place at The Forum, in Borough Road, Darlington, on Thursday, April 25. DELAYS EXPECTED: Motorists have been warned to expect delays overnight for two weeks on the A1 at Scotch Corner to allow for bridge drainage works. Lane closures will be in place on the motorway and the junction roundabout between 8pm and 6am, from Tuesday, April 2 to April 16.
