HMV in Middlesbrough's Cleveland Centre is to remain open after a deal was struck with the company's administrators.
Staff have placed a note of thanks on the store window for all the support they have had from shoppers.
Debbie Anderson, manager of the Cleveland Centre: "We have been working with the administrators and HMV to reach a way to assist the store in remaining open and are very pleased that HMV in the Cleveland Centre will remain open.
"We are especiallly pleased for the staff in the store and are glad to have reached an agreement."
