A CYCLIST was treated for minor injuries following a rush-hour incident in a North-East town.
The man, understood to be in his 40s or 50s, came off his bicycle on a roundabout at the junction of Neasham Road, Geneva Road and Parkside, in Darlington, shortly after 5pm today (Tuesday, March 26).
Police and ambulance crews attended the incident, which led to traffic tailbacks in all directions.
A police officer at the scene said it was unclear whether the cyclist had been clipped by a passing vehicle, or whether something else had caused him to fall off his bike.
