LOCALLY sourced produce will be on sale when a farmers' market comes to a Teesside nature reserve.
The Northern Dales Farmers’ Market will be at RSPB Saltholme, near Stockton, on Saturday (March 30) between 9am and 3pm.
The same producers hold regular markets across North Yorkshire and the Tees Valley each month.
Nigel Davison, Director of the Northern Dales Farmers Market, said: “We’ll have all kinds of goods on offer, from meat, honey and home-made preserves to bread and vegetables.”
Lisa Daley, Saltholme’s centre manager, said: “Buying local and supporting local producers is a big part of the RSPB’s ethos, so we’re thrilled that the farmers’ market has agreed to come to Saltholme.”
“It’s also a great chance for visitors to pick up some delicious goodies to prepare for an Easter family feast.”
Markets will also be held at Saltholme on June 29 and September 31.
