SOME of the country’s best fiddle players will perform in the North-East next month (Tuesday, April 9).
Feast of Fiddles will play Durham’s Gala Theatre on Tuesday, April 9, as part of a 15-date UK tour to mark 20 years since the group was founded.
The line-up will include Fairport Convention’s Chris Leslie, Steeleye Span and Gigspanner’s Peter Knight, Bully Wee Band’s Ian Cutler, Battlefield Band’s Brian McNeill, Band of Two’s Garry Blakeley and John B Spencer Trio’s Tom Leary.
Accompanying the six fiddle players will be a support band led by Hugh Crabtree.
The band recently released its sixth album, titled Rise Above It.
