PATIENTS at a North-East hospice have been treated to complimentary beauty treatments thanks to a Darlington shop.
Staff from the Body Shop, in the Cornmill Centre, Darlington, visited St Teresa’s Hospice to pamper patients at its day therapy unit.
The 20 guests were treated to facials, skin treatments and other beauty treatments after the charity was chosen by the Body Shop as part of a national scheme within stores to recognise the hard work of volunteers in the community.
The hospice offers free care and support for residents in South Durham and North Yorkshire who are affected by life-limiting illnesses with the aim of improving their quality of life.
