A YOUNGSTER with stars in her eyes will give the performance of her life this weekend in the regional final of a national talent contest.
Olivia Irvin will sing in front of a live audience at The Theatre Royal, in Newcastle, this weekend when she competes in the TeenStar competition.
The overall winners will get to perform at the O2 Arena in London and there is a top prize of £5,000.
Olivia, 13, a pupil at Whitworth Park School and Sixth Form College, in Spennymoor, has been performing since she was around four.
She enjoys dancing, musical theatre and singing lessons at Studio 10- home of The Joanne Banks Dancers in Spennymoor- and has performed in pantomimes at Darlington Civic Theatre.
To qualify for the regional final she sang Big White Room by Jessie J and on Saturday plans a rendition of Beyonce Knowles’ Halo.
