POLICE found three ecstasy tablets in the possession of a man who was suspected of being a burglar.
Officers saw Stuart Fleming climbing through the window of a house in Middlesbrough on November 21 last year and believing he was about to burgle it stopped and searched him.
They found cannabis residues in his pockets and then recovered ecstasy tablets from Fleming’s home in Parliament Road, Middlesbrough.
The 27-year-old said they were for his own use. He admitted possession of a class A drug at Teesside Crown Court.
Fleming, who had previous convictions for drug offences, was given a total of 100 hours community service by the Recorder of Middlesbrough, Judge Simon Bourne-Arton.
