WAR widows from across the country will descend on the North-East next month (April 4-8).
About 100 members of the War Widows Association of Great Britain are expected for the group’s annual general meeting, to be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, in Durham City, from April 4 to 8.
The event will include formal business, visits to local attractions and evening entertainment.
On Friday, April 4, the gathering will be entertained by the Military Wags Choir of Catterick Garrison.
