A PROFESSIONAL dancer will take to the floor tomorrow night (Wednesday, March 20) to prove he is still nimble at 90.
Sid Robson, who was born on March 20, 1923, is celebrating his landmark birthday with his partner, Anne Milburn, as well as friends and family.
They are attending a dance and do with a buffet at Stanley Community Centre, County Durham.
Mr Robson, who has started ballroom dancing aged 12, ran Consett School of Dance with his late wife, Esther, during the 1970s.
Mr Robson said: “I have done all sorts during my life but I am still dancing at 90.”
Mr Robson and Ms Milburn, who live at Meadow Rise, Consett, still go dancing three times a week.
He added: “I have been dancing all of my life and I feel as fit as a fiddle.”
