POLICE are trying to track down a missing teenager and are appealing for the public’s help.

Ewan Corbett, 14, was last seen at his by his carers in the village of Fellbeck between Ripon and Pateley Bridge early last Sunday evening, March 17.

He is believed to have left the house of his own accord and travelled to Harrogate.

Officers are becoming concerned for Ewan’s welfare and are urging people to keep an eye out and report any sightings of him.

Inspector Andy Chapman said: ““We believe that he may be seeking accommodation either within Harrogate or somewhere outside of the district and that he does not have the means to fend for himself, particularly in view of current adverse weather conditions.

“Ewan has friends and contacts throughout North Yorkshire, particularly in Harrogate, Scarborough and Northallerton, as well as outside of the county, but so far enquiries with people he may have contacted have been unsuccessful.”

The teenager is around 5ft 7in tall, with a slim build, brown shaven hair and blue eyes. When last seen he was wearing a dark-coloured hooded-top and black tracksuit bottoms.

Contact police on 101, select option one and pass information to the force control room.
