MAIL delivery times will change under a new system being introduced in Chester-le-Street.
From today, Tuesday, March 19, postmen and women will start to follow new routes in the DH2 and DH3 postcode areas.
The changes have been made to reflect the fact that fewer letters are posted and the post carries more larger items these days.
Royal Mail will continue to deliver daily in the morning and for a longer period during the day.
