THE owner of a classic car garage has appealed for information after a vintage Mini was stolen the forecourt.
Simon Robinson, owner of Ketton Garage, off the A167 near Darlington, had taken delivery of a 1979 Mini 850 Super deluxe on Friday, March 15, and put it on display for sale the next day.
The car was taken from the forecourt sometime between 6pm and 10pm on Saturday, March 16.
The russet brown car, described by Mr Robinson as being in immaculate condition, has 35,000 miles on the clock and is worth about £5,000.
Mr Robinson is prepared to offer a reward to anyone who provides information leading to the return of the vehicle.
