A COMEDY duo who met in the North-East will return to the region later this week (Thursday, March 21).
Ray Peacock and Ed Gamble, who met at a gig at Durham University, will bring their show ‘Don’t Want to Be on Telly Anyway’ to the Gala Theatre, in Durham City, on Thursday.
They were Chortle Award nominees in 2011 and 2012 and regularly contribute to Russell Howard’s Good News programme.
The show starts at 8pm. Tickets are £10 each. The Gala is offering two for the price of one – quote ‘Gigglebeats’ when booking.
Meanwhile, comedian Richard Herring will follow at the Gala on Sunday (March 24). His ‘Talking Cock’ show is described as a male answer to the Vagina Monologues.
The show starts at 8pm. Tickets are priced £15.
To book for either show, call the Gala on 0191-332-4041 or visit galadurham.co.uk
