PEOPLE in North Yorkshire will have their first chance to question the new Police and Crime Commissioner Julia Mulligan at a series of surgeries starting tomorrow night (TUESDAY DEC 11th) in Northallerton.
Mrs Mulligan has already said she wants to press ahead with a move from the existing police headquarters at Newby Wiske where 450 staff are based, but that it would remain in Hambleton district.
Other priorities also include appointing a new Chief Constable and developing a ‘victim’s charter’.
The community surgeries are being held at Northallerton Library between 4pm and 6pm. Appointments have to be made, but some slots are still available. Contact 01765-641839 or email pccsurgeries@northyorkshire-pcc.gov.uk.
Further surgeries are being held at Scarborough Library on December 13, Pickering Library on January 15 and Harrogate Library on January 16.
More surgery dates are being arranged at places across the county to give individuals the chance to meet Mrs Mulligan.
