A PHYSIOTHERAPY clinic has opened in a north Durham village.
Shotley Bridge Therapy Centre, on Queens Road, provides a range of physiotherapy services, acupuncture and cognitive behavioural therapy as well as nutritional and podiatry services.
It is managed by physiotherapist Chris Irving and Monica Verlet and is carrying out laser hair removal IPL treatments.
The clinic was set up with the help of Derwentside Enterprise Agency.
Enterprise coach Anne Livesey said: “This is the only clinic in the area that offers all of these services under one roof.
“Chris is very experienced and well qualified, and he will be offering the highest standard of treatments in a friendly, welcoming and professional environment.
“He has worked very hard to get the centre up and running, and I wish him the very best of luck.”
Additional services include the assessment and treatment of neurological conditions such as stroke and the provision of exercise programmes and oxygen therapy screening.
Appointments are available over seven days to offer flexibility.
