The bingo and supper nights at the Lipscomb Hall have proved a huge success this year and we've managed to raise a few quid in the process.
We had our final event of this year last Monday and because I was committed to the faith and life course at Evenwood we had a new host bingo caller, Marie Carlisle.
As you can see from the picture we have a huge age range, young and older!! We have a raffle, 6 games of bingo, pie and pea supper, tea/coffee and biscuits, all for £3 a head.
This year we have raised just over £1500 for church funds.
Joe Simpson gives us the pies free every time and a huge thanks go to him and also to all who attend and make it a real village community event.
I'm already looking forward to next years bingo nights, details of which will be on the Cockfield blog.
