A TRIO of hospice supporters have climbed Africa’s highest mountain, raising more than £20,000 for the cause.
Graham Duncan, David Hardy and Richard Langdon took five days to climb the 19,500ft of Mount Kilimanjaro and their efforts have generated around £23,000 for St Cuthbert’s Hospice, in Durham City.
Mr Langdon said: “We have had literally hundreds of sponsors and want to say thank you to them, a big thank you.
“People’s generosity has been tremendous.”
