DRUGS FOUND: Police are investigating after drugs were found at a cemetery in Harrogate. A member of the public alerted police after finding a quantity of what are believed to be controlled drugs at Stonefall Cemetery, on Wetherby Road, on Friday, November 2. North Yorkshire police are now appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area on Friday to contact them on 101 – select option 2 – and pass information to the force control room. ARCHIVES TOUR: A guided tour of North Yorkshire’s archives is taking place on Wednesday, November 14. The County Records Office in Northallerton holds thousands of historic documents relating to family history, school records, maps, parish magazines, business and private records and newspapers.
