POLICE are investigating after a woman was found collapsed in the middle of a road early this morning.
The 23-year-old woman from Darlington was found unconscious near a bus stop in Parkside, Darlington, at about 7.30am.
She has been taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital where she remains in intensive care in a stable condition.
Police are unable to say exactly what happened to the woman and investigations are ongoing.
