THE A19 was closed for two hours after a four vehicle crash tonight.
The incident happened at the A690 junction in Sunderland at 5.50pm.
A spokesman for Northumbria Police said no-one was seriously hurt.
Traffic was directed around the crash scene using the road junction to minimise delays.
