TWO business partners will have follow-on art exhibitions in a town hall.

Sharon Gollan’s exhibition of lino prints, titled You Are Here, will go on public display in Durham Town Hall foyer on Monday (November 5).

The 11-piece show, described as a road trip around the North-East, will be on display until the end of November.

After it closes, an exhibition of encaustic – or hot wax – paintings will follow.

The show, titled The Beekeeper’s Wife, is the work of Miranda Petersen.

The two women, both from Chester-le-Street, County Durham, together run WillyNillie(CORR), which stages art workshops and training.

Ms Petersen’s show, featuring 14 pieces, will be on display throughout December.

The Town Hall is open to visitors from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm. Entry is free.

Willynillie is running life drawing sessions, tutored and non-tutored, in Bullion Hall, Chester-le-Street, on Tuesdays from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. The cost is £3.50 per person per session.

Christmas felt making sessions will be held in Bullion Hall on Tuesdays from November 6 to December 11 from 10am to noon. The cost is £2 per person per session.
