A WOMAN had to be cut free from her car by firefighters after she was involved in an accident last night (Thursday).
The 54-year-old was driving her black Toyota Starlet on Dunsdale Road in Guisborough at around 7.30pm when her car was in collision with a silver Nissan Qashqai.
She was cut free before being taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough and later released with minor injuries. The 33-year-old driver of the Nissan was arrested for being wanted on warrant.
Any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have seen either vehicle in the area around the time of the incident are asked to contact PC Steven Harbisher of the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency 101 number, quoting reference number 198128.
