POLICE have searched hedgerows in a North-East town following a burglary several miles away.
Officers from Durham Police spent several hours in Adelaide Terrace, Shildon, today (October 31).
The search stemmed followed a burglary in Forcett, near Richmond, on Saturday (October 27).
A 47-year-old Bishop Auckland man has been arrested and remains in police custody.
