THREE people have been taken to hospital after a two vehicle crash in County Durham tonight.
The collision happened at 8.40pm on the A692 near the Grey Horse in Dipton, near Stanley.
One woman had to be cut free by fire fighters and was taken to the University Hospital of North Durham in Durham City by ambulance suffering from back and neck injuries.
A spokeswoman for County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service said a man and a woman also involved in the crash were taken to the same hospital.
The extent of their injuries is not yet clear.
