THERE will be spooky goings on in Darlington tomorrow (October 31) during a Halloween fun day.
Groundwork North East, Darlington Borough Council and The Friends of the Denes are holding a Halloween Spectacular in the Tennis Dene, off Deneside Road, from 1pm until 4pm.
The event includes free rock climbing and archery, and youngsters can also enjoy face painting, get temporary tattoos and listen to live music.
The fun starts at 1pm and children have the chance to make their own broomstick and take part in a fancy dress contest, which will be judged by Darlington mayor Councillor Paul Baldwin.
