A LORRY driver was treated for minor injuries after his vehicle was involved in an early morning collision on the A1(M).
The incident happened close to junction 60 at Bradbury, near Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, at about 4.50am today (October 27).
A lorry travelling south collided with the central reservation and crossed over onto the northbound carriageway.
The male driver suffered minor injuries.
A spokeswoman for Durham Police said the road was closed for some time, while a fuel spill was cleared up.
Diversions were put in place for drivers and the Highways Agency says it expects traffic conditions to return to normal by 11am.
