A WOMAN has admitted causing the death by dangerous driving of a Romanian man who was hit by a car as he changed a tyre on the A19.
Susan Noble pleaded guilty to causing the death of 24-year-old Alexandru Braninschi, from Bucharest, at Mount Grace Bank, near Osmotherley, North Yorkshire, on December 27 last year.
Ms Noble had been given time to compose herself prior to the hearing at Teesside Crown Court, but fled the court in tears after pleading guilty to the charge.
The 28-year-old, from Reeves Way, Armthorpe, Doncaster, had her bail renewed by Judge Peter Bowers and the case was adjourned.
She will be sentenced after December 1.
