CHILDREN have been investigating mysterious ‘dragon footprints’ ahead of the opening of a North-East youth festival.
Youngsters from Blue Coat Junior CofE School, in Durham City, followed the painted footprints around the Great North Museum: Hancock, in Newcastle, under a project called Dragon Steps, part of the Juice Festival, which started today (October 26) on Tyneside.
Other footprints have appeared at Dance City, the Discovery Museum and Northern Stage.
The Juice festival for children and young people runs until Sunday, November 4. A range of events are planned, including hip hop dancing, pumpkin carving and a dragons parade.
