CREATIVE company Artichoke has today announced it will bring the Lumiere light festival back to Durham in 2013.
Durham County Council backed the idea of a third Lumiere festival, following those in 2009 and 2011, earlier this year.
Now it has been announced that Artichoke has again been commissioned to produce the festival, having also taken charge of its two predecessors.
Lumiere 2013 will take place over four nights from November 14 to 17 next year.
Nicky Webb, co-director of Artichoke, said: "We are absolutely delighted to have been re-commissioned by Durham County Council to create a third Lumiere for Durham."
