FIFTEEN televisions have been stolen from a North-East care home.
The 19-inch Toshiba TVs were stolen from the Pavillion Rest Home, on North View Terrace, Houghton-le-Spring, Wearside.
The sets were still in boxes awaiting installation in residents’ rooms.
A 24-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and later bailed pending further enquiries.
One of the TVs was recovered during a search of a house on Sunderland Street, in Houghton-le-Spring.
Anyone with information on the theft, thought to have happened between October 8 and 22, is asked to call Northumbria Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111.
