A WOMAN has been found safe and well 24 hours after police issued an appeal amid growing concern for her whereabouts.
Police said today (Tuesday, October 23) that 41-year-old Michelle McQueen has been located and is no longer a cause for concern.
The appeal was made after she failed to appear at the hostel where she had been living in Sunderland for more than a fortnight.
Northumbria Police thanked the public and media for their efforts in helping to trace Ms McQueen.
