RESIDENTS are invited to tour a business school which is being rebuilt and expanded.
Durham University’s Durham Business School, on Mill Hill Lane, in Durham City, is being rebuilt at a cost of £16.5m.
The university and builders Miller Construction are holding an Open Doors Weekend on November 9 and 10.
There will be behind-the-scenes tours and information about the construction industry.
Ian Jubb, Miller’s managing director north, said: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming local residents onto site to view the works being undertaken and to learn more about the project.”
Work on the building began in May and is due to be completed by August next year.
Open Doors is an initiative involving 23 employers on 75 sites across the country. For further details, visit opendoorsweekend.co.uk
