Of Deneholme Farm, Aiskew passed away peacefully at the Friarage Hospital surrounded by his family on 11th November 2024. Aged 93. A beloved husband of the late Joan, a devoted and adored father of Janet and Margaret, a dear father-in-law to Gerard and Mark, a much loved grandfather and great grandfather, a much cherished uncle and great uncle and treasured brother to the late Mary and Emma.

Peter will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

The funeral service will take place at St Oswald’s Church, Askrigg on Thursday 28th November at 12 o'clock followed by burial.

In Loving Memory of Peter Lambert. Peter embodied the strength of old-school values, a man whose word was his bond and whose actions spoke louder than words.

He worked tirelessly, never seeking recognition, but always striving to provide, support, and do right by those he loved. Even as life presented its challenges, Peter’s dedication never wavered until he could no longer.

Peter represented a generation rooted in tradition, integrity, and respect. He valued hard work, honesty, and humility, leaving behind a legacy of honor and principles that will inspire us all.

Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the example he set. Rest in peace, Peter—you were a man of character, and your life was a gift to all who knew you.
