Only just heard of Johns passing. John and i go back when we were 14 years old and later sharing time as we got older at the local village dances.
And getting tipsy on £1 each (under aged !!!) . I moved South when I was 17 but we always teamed up when i came back up North to see my Mam and Dad and brothers. When John married Delia I would still get together with them . I also became a good frriend with John s brother Jimmy . Last saw John about 6 years ago when we got together over a pint and recall our seperate lifes . RIP my friend .

I am beyond sad about losing John. And very sorry that none of us over here are able to attend the memorial service. Barney and I and family had some great times with John and Dee and family and then when Dee died and then Barney, John and I teamed up for some fun trips, making the loss of our spouses more tolerable. We have had so many laughs together and I cherish them.
