SMITH Dave Of Eggleston (formerly of Darlington & Shildon) Died suddenly on Tuesday 24th September 2024, at home, aged 74. A beloved husband to the late Sandra Smith, a devoted father to Karen, father-in-law to Stu, and treasured Granda to Tom and Maia. A much-loved brother to Maureen and Pat, a respected brother-in-law and uncle. Dave will be sorely missed by friends, family, colleagues, and community members. There will never be another Dave Smith! Dave's life will be celebrated at Durham Crematorium at 2:00pm on Tuesday 22nd October 2024, and all are welcome. Family flowers only please. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at the Crematorium for the PDSA and The British Heart Foundation. After the service all are welcome to the Honest Lawyer Hotel, Sunderland Bridge, for refreshments - please bring your memories!
