BESTFORD Doris of Bishop Auckland, aged 86 years, peacefully in the care of Darlington Memorial Hospital, 20th July 2024. Beloved daughter of the late William and Rosamund. Beloved sister of the late Cornelius and Arnold. A much loved and respected family member. A close friend to Barbara, and many others in Aclet Close, Bishop Auckland. Doris will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A funeral service will take place at the Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon, on Wednesday 21st August, at 11.30am. Following the service, the family warmly invites everyone for refreshments at the Fifteas Vintage Tea Room, Bishop Auckland. Donations in memory of Doris may be left at the crematorium for the RSPCA.
