ALDERSON George Mervyn of Deneside Road, Darlington (formerly of Mickleton and Victoria Road Electrics). Peacefully in hospital after a short illness, bourne with great courage and dignity on July 4, aged 84 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Jean, devoted dad of David, Helen, and the late Simon. Proud grandad of Ollie, Jackson, and Evelyn. Funeral Service to take place in St Peter's Church, Croft, on Monday, August 5th at 12 noon, followed by private cremation and refreshments at the Comet. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu would be much appreciated and shared between Cancer Research UK and the Church, and will be accepted by Whitehouse Funeral Service
